Luci Base Light

Last February a storm in Southern California flooded a few of my Rubbermaid Action Packer storage boxes which were completely filled to the brim with water. Only a few pieces of camp gear survived. Amongst them were the Luci solar inflatable lights. I have various kinds and sizes and ALL of them survived. Unfortunately, my Luci string lights did not fare so well but was expected given they are not completely water proof. Only one Luci string survived for which I was very surprised. I also had one heavy duty tactical battery operated flashlight that survived. It was a different brand. So I can recommend the Luci inflatable solar lights. The string light are excellent also but be careful of weather.

Great to have in each of my two emergency kits and I use one every day to charge my phone.

I ended up giving out 25 base lights to people in a village who had no electricity, they’re life changing for them.
The children in the village can now study at night, cooking can be done and their ability to do basic things that I take for granted at night has changed.

I have a couple of these lights of different intensities. They blow up real full and light really well, but when I collapse them, they DO NOT collapse FULLY! No matter how hard I attempt to get the blow up port to go back to it's fully collapsed position it will NOT go in!!! Other than that I love these lights! P. S.: If MPOWERD has a secret way of getting that inflation port to FULLY collapse I wish they'd tell me!!!!!
