Do something bright
Send a Luci light to someone in the world who really needs it.
The need for light
We created Luci, our inflatable solar light, to empower the 1.5 billion people in the developing world who still live without electricity. In many places, as soon as the sun goes down, children can't study, entrepreneurs have to stop working, women are less safe walking outside, health clinics have to close... the list goes on. Kerosene lamps are the most common solution in these areas – but they are dangerous, toxic and expensive.
Lightweight, easy to carry, and shining up to 12 hours on a single charge, Luci is a clean, safe and affordable way to bring light to the world.
The sharing of light
We founded MPOWERD on a sustainable business model that allows us to provide our clean and safe solar lights to people in developing countries at a price they can afford.
But there's more we can do together.

With Give Luci, your purchases go through our NGO partners, who distribute the lights directly to people in areas where they are needed most. Today, our lights shine all over the world, in places like Kenya, Haiti, Philippines and Nepal.
Our NGO Partners
New Course provides Luci lights to rural women in Sub-Saharan Africa, freeing them from the financial burden and daily responsibility of collecting traditional energy fuel, as well as from the toxic kerosene fumes that filled their home.
Reunion Sportive d'Haiti (RS Haiti) helps marginalized youth in Haiti through sports and education. The Luci lights distributed in these communities help kids stay in school, families keep healthy and communities grow stronger.
Health & Hope Foundation uses Luci lights in off-grid health clinics in rural areas of Tanzania, Nepal and the Philippines. With clean, safe light, the medical, dental and vision clinics can remain open after dark and better serve the communities.
Boy Scouts of America uses Luci lights on camping and trekking adventures, teaching young scouts about clean energy and inspiring them to think differently about the possibility and power of new ideas.

Luci helps our community work at night
Luci is very useful, as due to our old age we don't make enough money to purchase lanterns
