Earthquake Relief Efforts in Haiti

Light up Haiti

A 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck the Tiburon Peninsula in Haiti on August 14, 2021. This earthquake was more potent than the 2010 one that hit Haiti and killed over 200,000 people. This disaster comes when the nation is still recovering from the 2010 quake and dealing with a political crisis and increased violence. With thousands of families displaced from their homes, MPOWERD is committed to working with NGOs to bring our solar lights to those in need during this critical moment.
