Luci Solar String Lights: White 18'

Bright, long lasting, self powered, and most importantly, packs into itself.
Had 3 of these setup over a 3 day 2 night trip and these stayed on all of both nights. I love that they wind up into itself and that they are solar charged to be worry free. The lights are bright, even at the dimmest setting, and the cords seem to be very high quality. Can't wait to go out and use these more often.

I have had my two string lights for a few years, now, and I am quite pleased with their performance. I have used them, primarily, for power outages. I even have hooks on the ceilings to hold them.
I camp once a year and I use them to light up my tent, inside and out. They are so handy and portable and I like the heavy-duty boxes with magnetic lids they came in, which promise to hold up for years with careful use. They keeps the lights safe and clean.
Some complain about winding the string back into the container, but once you get the hang of it, I find that it is quite easy. Treat it with care and it will last.
I am very glad I made the investment!

Our power often goes out . Sometimes for a few hours, when we have hurricanes in the vicinity it can be a few days at least. Sure is nice to have Luci light strings spread around the house to turn on!! The last two I purchased are gifts for neighbors who didn't know about them. Thank you

I love them. Something chewed through my other pair. Had to replace them. That's how sweet they are. I also have the 44ft version.

The Good: Love the string lights and 3 levels of brightness. The integrated clipping points on the line are brilliantly useful and good tiny size. Overall length is good.
The Meh: the flashlight that comes on first tends to blind you and not be what you were looking for. The form factor makes it hard to find the on button on the round surface and identify it from other button.
The Bad: The lights are a tight fit into their storage area, the closure mechanism on the storage area is tough to do and WILL be a failure point - just a matter of time and dirt. When stored you can't see if the lights are on = can be draining battery without knowing it.
Suggested fix that would take them from good to great:
They should eliminate the extra flash light and just make the storage cover out of flexy transparent silicone that bends to cover or reveal and the frustrating things on this light would be all solved in one go. You would be able to use as a lantern through the transparent cover, be able to see if accidentally on, and the wind/unwind cover would be super user friendly and not a mechanical gizmo that can break.
All that said, the lights are quite pleasant and useful. We usually find that low is bright enough and they last quite a while.
