Camping, power outages, and the hot tub

We have used the original as well as the pro lights for camping, power outages, night walks, emergency kits, and reading in the hot tub at night (my favorite). Safe, durable, reliable, *awesome*. We have half a dozen, and have given away at least that many as gifts.

It lasts forever. 11 years so far I think.

I've had mine so long. It's the first model so no USB, sadly, but as I'm about to get some new ones for car and home, I thought I'd review the original. I love this thing. I have used it SO many times. Power outage, camping or just to have calmer light at night. It has never let me down, always turns on, is always charged and ready. Mine says SunlightLantern that's how old. lol Anyway, buy it. Keep it forever. It'll never let you down. So few things in life are this perfect. If the house is burning, I'm grabbing this so I don't lose it. lol

USB port not functioning

I sent the following via contact page on 14/04
Hi there,
I purchased 2 Base Lights around November, and only just yesterday tried to use it. Its a nice upgrade from my other Luci lights. However, when plugging into the USB port to charge my phone, there was no power going out. I double checked the contact, tried with the light function on, and in the off setting, but still no charge to my phone.
I have this one unit with me on a 5-6 week camping trip, and the other is at home. I hope that other works, but not sure as this is the first of the two that I purchased at the same time. Please let me know of my options?
