New York, NY – July 1, 2016: MPOWERD, Inc. announced today a transition in the company’s leadership with Seungah Jeong joining the company as Chief Executive Officer.
MPOWERD, the brand behind Luci solar inflatable lights, is a fast-growing global consumer goods company based in New York City. After almost two decades of senior executive leadership experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, Jeong brings insider knowledge and expertise in developing and executing growth strategies for category-leading brands. She’s held key managerial roles at several notable companies, including Procter & Gamble and Shiseido. Most recently, as Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of NEST Fragrances, Jeong played an instrumental role in developing NEST Fragrances into one of the most successful luxury lifestyle fragrance companies in the market.
Jeong replaces Mark Sperry, who has served as interim CEO since late 2015 and will remain on the Board of Directors. She joins MPOWERD at a pivotal time for the company, as it looks to accelerate growth and leverage key retailer relationships both domestically and internationally.
